Walnut Sandwich Chutney Recipe by Gowri Chebbi
Elevate your sandwiches with this flavorful walnut chutney, which blends the nutty essence of walnuts with the freshness of coriander leaves and the zing of green chilies.
- ½ cup walnuts
- 1 red onion, roughly chopped
- 2 to 3 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp jeera (cumin seeds)
- 8 to 10 green chilies
- 1 bunch of coriander leaves
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt, to taste
1. In a dry pan, lightly roast the walnuts, red onion, garlic, cumin seeds, and green chilies until aromatic.
2. Transfer the roasted ingredients to a grinder, adding the coriander leaves, lemon juice, and salt.
3. Blend into a smooth, thick paste.
4. Store in an airtight container and spread on your favorite sandwiches for a burst of flavor.
