Red Capsicum Chutney Recipe by Gowri Chebbi
Experience the vibrant taste of red capsicum mingled with spices in this exquisite chutney.
- 1 large red capsicum
- 1 to 2 garlic cloves
- 3 to 6 red chilies
- 2 to 4 green chilies
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp tamarind pulp
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tsp oil
1. In a pan, heat 1 tsp of oil. Add the red capsicum, garlic, red and green chilies, and cumin seeds. Roast the ingredients until they are lightly browned and aromatic.
2. Once cooled, transfer the roasted ingredients to a blender. Add tamarind pulp and salt. Blend until smooth.
3. Store in an airtight container and serve as a delightful accompaniment to various dishes.
