Mint Chutney Powder by Gowri Chebbi
Experience the refreshing burst of mint fused with traditional Indian spices in this chutney powder. Conceived by Gowri Chebbi, it brings a zesty addition to your dishes, elevating them to an aromatic delight.
- 1 bunch of mint leaves
- 4 to 5 red chilies
- 2 tbsp black gram dhal
- 2 tbsp toor dhal
- Salt, to taste
1. In a pan with a drizzle of oil, sauté the mint leaves until they're well-toasted. Once done, set them aside.
2. In the same pan, fry the red chilies, black gram dhal, and toor dhal until they turn aromatic and slightly golden in color.
3. Transfer the sautéed mint leaves and the fried ingredients to a grinder. Add salt and grind everything together until it forms a coarse powder.
4. Your mint chutney powder is ready! Store in an airtight container and sprinkle over dishes to add a burst of flavor. Enjoy!
