Play Ganapati Upanishad

brahma

Brahma has no cult, no temples and no worshippers. Because, as a Creator, He has no direct bearing on the personal lives of the HUMAN BEINGS. Hence Brahma is seldom worshipped as a GOD. He has no followers either.

Brahma is represented with four faces, four hands, a glowing Beard and as a grand old & wise GOD. In one hand, He holds a Conch Shell, a Rosary in another, a Water Jug in the third and the Vedas in the fourth. Saraswathi, the Goddess of Learning is His Consort. Hamsa, the Swan is the Vahana (Vehicle) of both Brahma and Saraswathi.
