INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 Cup fresh grated coconut
  2. ½ cup Fried Channa dhal (Putani)
  3. 1 inch ginger
  4. 6 to 8 Green chilies (roasted with 1 tsp of oil)
  5. 10 to 12 fenugreek seeds(roasted)
  6. ½ tsp tamarind pulp
  7. ¼ cup of chopped cilantro
  8. salt for taste
  9. Little water to grind

SEASONING

  1. Oil 2 tsp
  2. ¼ tsp Mustard seeds
  3. 1 Dry red chili
  4. 2 pinch of asafetida
  5. 2 to 3 curry leaves

METHOD

  1. Grind above ingredients into thick paste and season with the seasoning ingredients.
